With the rise of bourbon tourism and the return of the convention center, it was only a matter of time before Louisville began to see more city tour options. The folks over at Mint Julep Experiences have introduced Bourbon City Cruisers, adorable tuk tuks ready to take you on fun and eco-friendly tours that feature Louisville sightseeing, distilleries, cocktails, beer and shopping.
“We call it ‘transportainment’ because we’re mixing transportation and entertainment in a truly unique way,” said owner Sean Higgins. “We’re thrilled to offer downtown Louisville’s first sustainable and responsible mobile entertainment experience in the Bourbon District.”
All tours depart from the Bourbon City Cruisers Hub in Falls City Market at the Omni Louisville Hotel downtown and last 2.5 to 3 hours. Riders can book single tickets on a shared public tour or buyout the entire six-seat tuk tuk vehicle for an exclusive experience. Currently, three different public tours are available Wednesday through Sunday, and each tour also includes a wristband that unlocks perks, discounts and specialty drinks at partner locations around Louisville.

Ultimate City Sightseeing Tour
9:30 a.m. Wednesday through Sunday
You’ll see historic landmarks, fun murals, and famous places in Kentucky history as you cruise with plenty of photo stops along the way. The cost is $69 per person plus taxes and fees or $414 for an exclusive buyout for up to six riders.
Ultimate Distillery Sightseeing Tour
1:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday
You’ll drive by eight urban distilleries learning about America’s native spirit and Kentucky’s rich distilling history. Includes two Kentucky made spirits samples at urban distilleries of our choice. Ultimate Urban Bourbon® Cocktail Tour
5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday
Your cocktail cruise visits our pick of Louisville neighborhoods to visit Urban Bourbon Trail destinations. Includes one Old Fashioned cocktail at an Urban Bourbon stop of our choice. The cost is $79 per person plus taxes and fees or $474 for an exclusive buyout for up to six riders.
