Bourbons Bistro’s annual Handicapping dinner will be offered Monday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m. Track mavens Mark Coomes and Jody Demling will be the special guests, offering their expertise over a 3-course dinner and mint juleps, to help you choose your Derby Winner .
The dinner will start with a Kentucky Bibb salad with Benton’s bacon, oyster mushrooms and lump crab salad in a champagne vinaigrette. The main course will be a pan-seared filet au poivre served with pearl onions and oyster mushrooms and caramelized broccoli. Dessert will be olive oil cake with whipped mascarpone, strawberries, pistachios and Dumante syrup.
