The churn in the eating places and watering holes at Fourth Street Live! that began with the closing of Makers Mark Bourbon Lounge and Sully’s has reached the replacement stage, with Bourbon Raw set to open in the space that was Makers Mark. The Bourbon focus will remain, joined by a raw seafood bar, a menu with dishes bespeaking Southern cuisine and a Bourbon list that will begin with at least 85 brands.
The space has been remodeled, and though it will have a fine-dining look, the ambience will be very casual. Among the attractions will be a 57-foot marble bar, an outdoor patio and lounge seating for bourbon tastings.
Keep your eyes peeled when downtown: the opening will come before the end of the month.
