In 2017 we took a glance at things to come at the piece of downtown real estate so many Louisvillians always will know as O’Malley’s Corner.
It’s been three years and Griff’s closed for good in February, prior to the pandemic. Now two new restaurant concepts are coming coon to share the abundance of square footage.
Louisville Business First’s Haley Cawthon has the exclusive on this news, so let’s guide you straight to the source.
The owners behind Parlour in Jeffersonville and Louisville’s Crescent Hill Craft House have two new restaurants in the works, both planned for the former Griff’s location downtown.
Craft Culture Concepts (CCC) Development Group — a newly established restaurant group — announced the launch of two new restaurant concepts on Thursday. One Thirty Three and Smoked on Second are set to open late summer 2020.
One Thirty Three is projected as “upscale dining,” while Smoked on Second will be a “local BBQ smokehouse.”
Craft Culture Concepts also foresees an omnibus catering operation headquartered at Second and Liberty, combining menus from the two new establishments with those from the group’s two existing restaurants, Parlour and Crescent Hill Craft House.
