For the 42nd year, local Louisville restaurants and food and drink purveyors are banding together for A Taste of Louisville, a fund-raiser that will benefit the local Kentucky Restaurant Association chapter, the Home of the Innocents and Jill’s Wish. Over 40 local businesses that provide food and drink, along with several national businesses, such as Coppola Winery and Bogle Vineyard, will offer samples of their products and skills in the Louisville Executive Aviation Hangar at Bowman Field, 2700 Gast Blvd., on Wednesday, Oct. 18, beginning at 6 p.m. Since 1974, Taste of Louisville has raised over $250,000 for local charities, according to a press release.

The mobile application also allows attendees to vote for the restaurant with the best sweet, best savory dish and the best drink, or swig.
