Could there finally be an event for our dusty, cobwebbed calendar of events?

Yes!

The Kentucky Beef Council’s annual Louisville Burger Week is returning and will occupy the week of August 10 through 16.

Event Info:

  • August 10-16, $6 burgers
  • Age: This is an all ages event. Some locations may be 21+
  • Burger Passports: Collect four or more stamps to be entered for a grand prize drawing
  • Social media promotion: Facebook page here; menus and details will be available at www.louisvilleburgerweek.com
  • NOTE: due to the increase in beef pricing the promotional price point has been raised from $5 to $6 for 2020

According to Louisville Burger Week’s organizer Tony Frank, “the idea is to get people to embrace and support the food and culture of Louisville while getting them out to try new places.”

“As restaurants have faced one of the most challenging times in recent history, we want to lift them up and generate additional revenue when they need it most,” said Frank in a press release, adding “while Louisville Burger Week was intended for dine-in, given the current dine-in capacity limits, consumers can expect more restaurants offering takeout during this year’s event.”

Burger Week Passports can be picked up at participating locations or online at www.louisvilleburgerweek.com starting on Monday, August 10th.
