Just one month after opening their second location in J-town, Royals Hot Chicken has announced a third will open at 10310 Shelbyville Rd. in the building that most recently housed InWave Restaurant & Juice Bar.
Renovation of the building will begin in February with an eye toward opening this summer. “With our new J-town location off to a fast start, we realized the East End has an unquenched thirst for our hot chicken,” owner Ryan Rogers said in a press release about the location.
It’s been a busy new year for HiCotton Hospitality. In addition to the new Royals locations, they announced a relocation of their downtown Italian concept bar Vetti just three weeks ago.
So what’s next for a brand that’s starting to branch out after five years? Nothing too radical. Says Rogers in the release: “As we continue to grow, we’re working hard to ensure that each restaurant exudes the authentic, artistic vibe found at our original NuLu location, as you enjoy the same speed of service for our signature Nashville-style hot chicken.” F&D
